In this painting there is so much to beguile the view. The work features a Toucan and a Lobster Claw Orchid; both of which explode color upon this TropicalRain Forest venue. They also add balance and symmetry to one another, as well as to the waterfall in the back ground. Concomitantly the river flows through the painting uniting the activity in the back ground to the featured Toucan, flora and orchids as the eye moving forward in the painting. Moreover, and upon closer inspection, the artist further ties the back ground to the foreground by adding a wooden fence that starts up and to the right of the water fall, and then continues behind the waterfall, further winding down along volcano’s left side and finally ending in the paintings closest point to the viewer. It is almost as if your standing on the wooden deck, it’s self when viewing fine work of art.The original oil panting was just finished this past spring and published at the beginning of summer (2009). The initial response this work has received is out standing.
SCWarren is an accomplished SCUBA Diver and a World Traveler; His Paintings are an Attempt to capture some of the Beauty he has found Through His Adventures. Now a day, we are being bombarded by so much negativity; even feeling a little over whelmed at times. Thus SCWarren is hoping that his work, when gazed upon, can enable the viewer to loose themselves, even if just for a moment, and transcend themselves to a happier time or place.
The Artist is self taught; originally from Columbus, Ohio. It took a "Muse" in Portugal, where the Artist lived for 5 years, to motivate SCWarren to start painting (Oil/Canvas). HisMuse was a beautiful, Cultured and Fascinating Girl from Portsmouth, England; whose Father acquiesced his Danish Royal Title to Marry a Beautiful English Model. YES, Just like in the Fairy Tails. So it seems it took the Motivation of a Muse, from Portugal and the Beauty of the Caribbean for SCWarren to find his "Bailey-Wick", Painting Original Works of Tropical Art, Oil on Canvas.
Tropical Life # 4 was created since SCWarren has return to live in the USA, to care for his 94 year old father, full time. and continues to create new Fine Art Original paintings.
